Where is the Inn located?
The Eggemoggin Reach Inn is situated on 22 private acres in the quiet coastal village of Brooklin, Maine. The property overlooks the storied waters of Eggemoggin Reach — a favorite passage for New England’s classic wooden schooners and sailing vessels.
While Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are approximately one hour away, the Inn offers a peaceful alternative to busier destinations.
Can I see the ocean from my room?
Yes. Each of our eight spacious guest rooms offers an ocean view overlooking Eggemoggin Reach.

Our newly renovated Guest Lounge is a warm and inviting gathering space designed for relaxation and connection.
The lounge features:
• A stunning stone fireplace
• Comfortable couches and lounge chairs
• A pool table
• Large-screen television
• Access to the fully equipped shared kitchen
It is the perfect setting to unwind after a day exploring the coast.
For guests reserving the entire Inn, the lounge becomes a wonderful private space for meetings, celebrations, and shared meals.
Is the Inn available for private group bookings?
Yes. The Eggemoggin Reach Inn may be reserved in its entirety for private gatherings, leadership retreats, family reunions, and intimate celebrations. Please contact us directly to inquire about availability and pricing.
Does the Inn have beach access?
While the Inn overlooks a working waterfront, several public beach access points are located throughout Brooklin, including one within walking distance. Each room includes a curated guidebook highlighting beaches, preserves, restaurants, and local attractions.
What amenities are included in each room?
Each guest room is thoughtfully appointed with:

Rooms are spacious and finished in warm knotty pine, offering a timeless coastal Maine aesthetic.
Do the rooms have televisions?
Guest rooms are intentionally designed as quiet, restorative spaces and do not include televisions.
A large-screen TV is available in the Guest Lounge for those who wish to watch.
Is WiFi available?
Yes. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property.
Are pets allowed?
We welcome well-behaved dogs in our designated first-floor rooms (Torrey and Babson).
A $10 per night cleaning fee applies per pet.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM
We offer convenient self-check-in with a personalized access code provided prior to arrival.
If you anticipate arriving outside of standard check-in hours, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
A two-night minimum stay applies to online reservations.
Are taxes included in the room rate?
Yes. All posted room rates include Maine’s 9% lodging tax.
What is required to confirm a reservation?
A deposit equal to the first night’s stay is charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance is processed on your arrival date.
What is your cancellation policy?
To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to arrival.
• 29–15 days before arrival: 50% refund
• 14 days or fewer before arrival: non-refundable
We recommend travel insurance for additional flexibility and peace of mind.
